Century High School Music Program

Music education is alive and well in Carroll County.   Century High School is proud to provide comprehensive music opportunities for students in grades 9-12 .   Century offers a competition marching band and color guard, two concert bands, two orchestras, three choral ensembles, solo and ensemble festivals, and courses in music theory and percussion.  The program also offers indoor winter guard and a winter percussion ensemble.   Dedicated and talented music educators, supported by an active and engaged student and parent community, provide a rewarding musical and high school experience with a lifetime of benefits.

The importance of music education and its impact on all areas of academic and personal  development cannot be overstated. All students, regardless of ability or ambition, have a place in the Century High School Music Program and are encouraged to take advantage of all the stellar opportunities it offers.

Century students and families are invited to get involved - whether as a student participating in an ensemble, as a volunteer supporting its activities, or by simply attending one of the numerous performances offered throughout the year.
